“Follow the Science ™️,” is a cop-out… It’s an exemption politicians give themselves to side-step elected authority and place blame directly on the ‘scientists.’ In other words, for politicians, it’s a cowards way out. “Data does not capture the whole of truth. The claim that it does is itself a philosophical position that data cannot prove without the help of philosophy. Moreover, data and evidence cannot tell us what to do with them.
