On Friday, the UK's Cabinet Office -- the shadowy Downing Street unit run by Michael Gove with the primary purpose of shielding Boris Johnson's administration from problematical Freedom of Information requests -- casually announced a £320m contract had been awarded for Covid-19-related advertising. Appropriately, this latest abuse of the public purse commenced on 1 April; with an end date of 31 March 2022, that's equivalent to £876,712 taken daily from OUR pockets to pay for OUR OWN brainwashing.
