Mass Murder and Theft via Collective Guilt

In most superstitious and primitive societies (lol - ALL societies!), the stoopid majority of the population is manipulated into thinking bad weather is their fault. It's an eternally effective control mechanism because weather is never perfect & the priests (now called politicians) never run out of things to blame. In turn, this allows the politicians to sacrifice the masses on the alter of their own collective guilt.
