The mind seems hardwired to be run at its most functional when it has been trained under the teachings of Christ and the consequences of the ending of His story. You may say that the mind is running on power saving mode and is in need of a battery that is in the shape of the infamous Christ story. If the story is a lie, then we ought to be marveling at the schemer who wound up the web of lies. It would be an understatement to call him the greatest psychological philosopher in the history of mankind.
