Jury Nullification: 5 Founders and 4 States

Jury Nullification: 5 Founders and 4 States To the Founding generation, Trial by Jury was considered an indispensable tool against the power of government. Although supporters of the monster state today want juries to only judge the facts of the case before them, they actually have a duty to consider not just the facts, but the law itself. Anyone who claims that “well-regulated” in the Second Amendment is declaring government regulations are needed on guns hasn’t read the text, is a halfwit illiterate, or simply disingenuous. The prepositional phrase in the sentence is the justification for why the right to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed.” -TJ Martinell #2ndAmendment #gunrights #constitution #10thAmendment #libertarian https://tenthamendmentcenter.com/2018/03/17/refuting-12-common-claims-against-the-right-to-keep-and-bear-arms/

As James Madison put it, the powers delegated to the federal government are "few and defined," while those reserved to the people of the several states are "numerous and indefinite." #10thAmendment #constitution #decentralize #libertarian #liberty

Today, the Arizona Senate gave final approval to a bill that would ban state and local enforcement of federal gun control; past, present and future. Enactment into law would represent an important first step toward bringing those measures to an end within the state. Rep. Leo Biasiucci (R) introduced House Bill 2111 (HB2111) along with 16 cosponsors on Jan. 24. The legislation bans the state and all political subdivisions of the state from “using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with any act, law, treaty, order, rule or regulation of the United States government that is inconsistent with any law” of the state of Arizona regarding the regulation of firearms. On March 30, the Senate passed HB2111 by a 17-13 vote. It previously passed the House 31-29. It now goes to Gov. Doug Ducey’s desk for his consideration. #2ndAmendment #10thAmendment #arizona #libertarian #nullify https://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2021/03/to-the-governor-arizona-passes-bill-to-end-state-enforcement-of-federal-gun-control/
