Very good piece by the Principal at an ad agency for which I've written copy in the past. I disagree with her on the nature of the legislation, which is cleverly designed and draws heavily on Australia's high state capacity (Australia can't break the companies in question up; that is something for the US or perhaps the EU; it has done the next best thing). However, everything else she says is true. The spergy nerds who run Big Tech are - outside core technical areas - utterly incompetent.
