Our leaders - or misleaders, if you will - are chosen to mislead you by their skills to deceive and bargain for the unattainable with complex words and by their ability to stay calm, while telling obvious lies. Election processess are a theater and they are not acting there to get your vote, but to convince their owners of their excellence in bullshit.  Many are, uncoincidentally i might add, economists or lawyers by trade.
