Something I've noticed from my time on twitter: If you call lefties the no-no words, they'll call you whatever-phobic, but if you keep going, they'll stop. They won't leave the conversation, but they'll stop calling you -phobic and -ist. That's because they don't really care about those words, they only care about moral grandstanding. So now that they know it doesn't work, they stop. It's all about power and control.
