You know when a kid falls over it looks around to see other peoples reactions? If a parent starts rushing to them all "Aww baby" the kid will most likely think somethings wrong and cry about it. If a parent laughs a little or seems to be fine, the kid just gets up and keeps going without any damage done. Basically... some big accounts on Twitter are that first parent and the followers are all children.
