The president is not the same as a king (and Christ is my King anyway). He’s the president of the government, and I do not belong to the government. I have to follow the law (the actual law, not arbitrary edicts), but that doesn’t mean I work for them, nor that they are my rulers. The president has no more authority to walk into my house and boss me around than my next door neighbor has. In that way it is with all sincerity that I say Biden, like Trump and Obama before him, is not my president. I am my own president.
