Photo 2/2 - On December 22, 2000 this photograph was mailed to the Sarasota Sheriff's Department with a letter which included the following statements: "Enclosed please find some pictures I took." "My husband thinks it is an orangutan." "Why haven't people been told that an animal this size is loose?" "Please look after this situation." However upon closer inspection it was determined that this was not an orangutan leading many people to believe that these photographs are of a Skunk Ape.
