The elites don't promote collectivism, except when it comes to non-whites. For whites, they promote individualism. Why is this? They do it because they know that race is an effective basis for political mobilisation. Whilst non-whites would not organise against the elites if they think in racial terms, whites certainly would. The promotion of individualism is part of a divide and conquer strategy.
