The slow but steady demise of alt media has been increasingly painful to watch the past few years. It's now beyond clear that the 'fake news' narrative and 'Russian disinfo' campaign was successful as mainstream media once again claims it's dominance in the minds of Americans. Even more frustrating is watching colleagues, friends and family cease sharing alt media content because they too have bought into the narrative that only certain institutions can be the legitimate arbiters of truth and information exchange. In short... they won.
