There was a lot of talk and buzz about Giuliani releasing a statement that Sidney Powell was a lawyer working on her own and not apart of the Trump team of lawyers. People assumed that she was fired or let go. Sidney Powell released her own statement to clarify that she was never apart of the Trump team. [As an aside she is representing her own clients with their cases against the voter fraud that occurred. With that in mind the two teams do overlap, so likely share info and that is where the misunderstanding arose.]
