Luka Modric has revealed that he wanted to join Chelsea from Spurs in 2011, he even met Roman Abramovich on his yacht. He said: "I wanted to move to a more ambitious club and fight for trophies. I wanted to move to Chelsea, but the move was blocked." I can only imagine the joy it would have given Chelsea fans if he actually moved successfully to the club.
