The #FPUC stipend paid out $250 billion--roughly $18 billion per week. Moral hazards aside, that was spent in the regular #economy. Allowing the stipend to lapse would have contracted the economy.
That's the can #Trump kicked down the road.
The federal government spent almost $250 billion on enhanced unemployment benefits from early April to the end of July, the Labor Department said, as millions of workers were laid off amid the pandemic.
"It ain't no fun when your stomach hurts from hunger. It ain't no fun — especially in a pandemic," said one South Carolina woman who lost her home.
The #eviction moratorium was only a bandaid solution at best. Rent still needs to get paid, and landlords need to be able to make a profit. People who can't pay the rent on a place can't stay in it indefinitely.
Legacy of the lunatic #lockdown
Numerous studies are building a compelling case for universal masking as a low-tech way to help reign in the spread of the coronavirus, and perhaps avoid the need for more painful restrictions.
The non-debate over face masks is the epitome of the straw man argument. Demonstrations of the mechanistic efficacy of a single face mask DO NOT prove the efficacy of a mask mandate.
The legacy media is simply dishonest.

We cannot sustain the Republic, we cannot preserve the political order laid out by the Constitution, if we do not abjure any authority of Government to restrict the private ownership of arms.
We The People are the common defense for The Republic. It is our sovereign right and our sovereign duty.
We are the guarantors of the future, for no society disarmed and helpless can ever endure.
