Does chewing gum make you hungry?

I have tried and tried severally but I don't get hungry while chewing gum except I was generally hungry at the moment I was chewing the gum. Many say chewing gum makes you hungry and I don't think this happens to everyone. So I would like to know,does it happen to you or it dosent? Well like I said it doesn't occur to me. Let's hear thoughts
