Someone please explain to me why people are leaving #twitter (a platform which bans 'right-wing trolls') for a "free speech" platform called #Parler (an app which bans 'obscenity' & 'left-wing trolls'). Parler is literally just a twitter clone and nothing more; it's not decentralized, there's no end-to-end encryption. The only thing it has going for it is a few good shout-outs from conservative leaders. Just host your own #mastodon instance, you'll host your toots and you're not going to bad yourself!
