Summer 1995, MTX, Riverdales, Boris tour: the funniest thing I remember about that tour was on one of the handful of shows where the Queers were on the bill, and we were riding in a big freight elevator with all of our gear. Someone (don't know who anymore) took a look at Ben, Joe, and I and said if there were an elevator accident it would be like the Day the Music Died for Lookout Records. Then the elevator kind of lurched. Of course, I knew full well I was the Big Bopper in that scenario.
