This is the official document recording Bhumibol Adulyadej starting his studies at the University of Lausanne in October 1945. In December 1945, Bhumibol suspended his studies to go to Bangkok with his brother Ananda Mahidol, King Rama VIII. In June 1946 Bhumibol killed Ananda, shooting him through the head in Ananda's bedroom in the Grand Palace in Bangkok. In August 1946, Bhumibol returned to Lausanne, but he made little effort to continue his studies, and never received a degree from the university. #thailand #mindsTH
