Hey minds video gang! I was inspired to post this today by our newest member @vincentb_ It's my first ever short film! I actually did this as part of a 48 hour film contest, which takes place all around the world in August/ September (so maybe we can all enter this year! ) Anyway, you had to draw the "genre" at random and I got comedy, I thought it was pretty funny, its sort of a really bizarre and dark comedy...which is sort of my style but A LOT of people said it wasn't funny at all lol Some other elements of the films were predetermined for everyone like a characters name had to be liam or lily fraser (I used both names) and there had to be an alarm clock as a prop, the last line of dialog in the film had to be "what a small world" and maybe some other little stipulations, I can't quite remember... I only had 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, render and submit and for 12 of those hours I had to be at a wedding I was shooting so I was using my downtime at the wedding to brainstorm and make notes in my phone and I didn't sleep that weekend at all lol Anyway, I hope you guys get a kick out of it! I'm gonna tag everyone so you guys get notifications, we're a pretty small fam of videographers right now but hopefully the group will grow!
