We know that agricultural companies like Monsanto think it's worth their while to patent seeds, and even invent so-called "suicide seeds" in order to keep farmers worldwide in their thrall. What do you suppose it would be worth to a pharmaceutical company to make all in-person human social interactions dependent upon its product?
