This is a pretty long and in decent depth article by the South China Morning Post on the origins of the corona virus and the early Chinese response to it. I would also like to praise the visuals they have made for the article. It’s rare to see such care put into news media. Keep in mind, SCMP is owned by Alibaba group, a massive Chinese conglomerate. While not flagrantly pro-China they are seen by people in HK as holding back their punches when it comes to the CCP.
