The Robin Saw His Shadow!

A robin showed up yesterday. They usually show up earlier than vernal equinox [Spring] but the day before Ground Hog Day is first around here!! ;o)

This bird is larger than the usual "little birds" we have in our yard. He can literally destroy a suet cake in one visit which usually prompts the squirrels to clean up the remnants on the ground. He is a very impressive bird. ;o)

I think if I won the lottery, I would buy this little cluster of islands in Lake Diablo, where I would go to unwind, regroup, and then press forward. ;o)
