I guess I feel like just putting this into the void and seeing what comes back. You have to get to a breaking point before you will do something about what makes you unhappy and that breaking point was realizing I was a 32 y/o, 5’7”, balding, divorced, father pushing 200 lbs. There are things I can’t change in my situation but there is one thing I could change and that was my health. Through diet and exercise I was able to take control. Started off with a low carb diet. I was telling myself I was on the Keto diet but without monitoring my blood levels I’m not sure if I was ever really in ketosis or if I just became fat adapted. And for exercise, I just bought a bench and a standard threaded collar dumbbell set. I also had a road bike set up on a trainer for a stationary set up for cardio. Physical health is tied to mental health. I was fat and out of shape and because of this I was depressed. Diet, physical fitness and staying active is the key to life.
