Trying out a new renderer. Using V-Ray just makes the image look so beautiful. My next piece will be more of a study, and close out the initial "trilogy" of pieces showcasing Meta-Naturalism (MetaNat). After this I'm going to move into radicalizing my work, but still keeping it animal art and using the techniques from those earlier pieces. By "radicalizing" I mean to include social commentary, and perhaps deal with current issues. It's something that I've been wanting to explore since 2014, but needed to come up with an innovative ideology. MetaNat is the foundation. Like Franz Marc's "The Fate of the Animals", the work showed notions like extinction as a commentary of World War. It's this kind of "radicalization" that I think the average spectator, and even myself, would find interesting. It would also show a life that could only exist in my work. I'm very excited to embark on these experimentations. Digital art shouldn't be stuck in the "realist" trap just because the renderer is powerful enough to do it. It's possible to move further from this, and it's been my sole preoccupation to stand out as an artist. Modernism gave art history the means to think differently as an artist. It allowed us to not be afraid to go against the status quo. The general trend of digital art is this realist approach on all aspects of the world, and it's hard to find other artists finding a solution per denying this trend. It is possible to find a solution. The Impressionists found it when they denied the academia. It would seem that history repeats itself. It's time to break that trend. #artist #digitalart #art #minds #animalart
