Chittor Fort, found in Rajasthan, India is one of the largest forts in India. The fort itself was used as the capital of the Mewar, and is now in the present day town of Chittor. It is believed that construction began some time in the 7th century and was in use right up to the years of the East India Trading Company and English colonialism. It has a rich history of sieges, folk lore and myth, rebellions, and intrigue, making it at UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a must see if you make it to India. #art #history #India #photography #architecture

Plastic waste and trash in the oceans is choking the life out of the animals that live there. Literally killing our seas, we are looking at another front in our battle with our current climate crisis. I have heard many speak to various views on warming, but there is no denying the fact that we have trashed our oceans with plastic. It is time to hold all nations accountable for their plastic and trash pouring into our oceans and action taken to curtail offenders and to clean up the damage that is already done, before there is nothing left to save. #climatecrisis #plasticwaste #pollution #ocean #whales
