From Justin Perkins at Mystery Room Mastering (where the mastering for the Mtx forever comp. was done): The test pressings for The Mr. T Experience "MTX Forever" double LP are sounding great thanks to great lacquer cutting by Well Made Music LLC and meticulous tape transfers by Jessica Thompson from the original analog mix reels and DAT tapes. The digital mastering was completed here at Mystery Room Mastering earlier this year and it’s great to hear 3 decades of great songs presented with fresh mastering and attention to detail. Some bands and labels might just take the original CD masters and call it good, but kudos to Frank Portman for doing it the right way and spending years tracking down all the original tapes so these songs can live on forever in the best light possible.
