I have been asked a lot about the pendant I wear around my neck. Many people may be unaware but I often switch between two, the standard 5 point pentacle and the 7 pointed F(a)eri(e) Star, each having unique meanings and significance to me. First let me quote Victor Anderson, founder of the American tradition of Wicca known as Feri; "The Craft is about loving one another and doing the right thing by everyone you see. Do right by them. Even if they don't agree with you, and they do you wrong, you do right by them. Then, if they do something you don't like, you just tell them, 'I don't believe in that. I don't do it, and I won't do it.' We believe that the craft is a very good thing. It's a solid foundation if anyone gets the right teachings and they do the right thing..." I believe the above statement truly states my belief system. Now if cornered I will often state I am an eclectic Wiccan, having studied many traditions, as well as many other religions. I have been ordained in both Wiccan and Christian religions. I have found, for me at any rate, religion is a very personal and transitional thing. In that, the Divine inspires, teaches and manifests itself as we need, when we need.
