The Case of the Censored Witch When I posted my Weakly Reader link on Instagram I illustrated it with an image other than the Medium post's banner pic, because that Matt K Shrugg artwork featuring caricatures of me and Joe Queer, great as it is, had been posted a lot and I wanted to distinguish the post from all the others. The image I chose from the Weakly Reader was that of a witch flying on a broom, and it got summarily deleted for violating the IG "community standards". For nudity, I expect. And while it's true that the witch in question appears to be nude, it's a rather modest nude with none of the "naughty bits" showing. Moreover, if you've been on Instagram you'll have noticed there are naked ladies ALL OVER IT. My witch is nothing compared to the run of the mill flow. So that's funny and stupid. There is no appeal available. They just delete the entire post, in the name of some putative but actually non-existent "community".
