What program do you recommend to fix data on HDD? I'm looking for something bootable like Partition Magic. My friend has an old PC with Windows which starts, but doesn't open the desktop - it freezes on the screen with logo and loading bar. We tried running the latest version of Ubuntu from pendrive - it works, but doesn't see the HDD at all (in any program - installer, file manager, GParted, Disks and something else).
