Playing a RTS game called Wargame: Red Dragon. I do try to copy the air assault in Vietnam War. I made a setup for 1st Cavalry (Air) with infantry only assisted by air and sea. I have another setup assisted by both air and artillery. Lots of UH-1H Huey, A-4F Skyhawk, A-6 Intruder, A-7E Corrsair, F-111E and the F-4J Phantoms. Some may be out of place but this is most I can do in this game. Strategy is to start fast deployment by bringing the infantry by using Hueys and create a bombardment(naval)/airstrike zone so the enemy wouldn't advance to targeted zone. I would setup a supply base in safe and close to the defending zone and protected by infantry and later arriving vehicles. Supply base have the reinforcements and huey tranport. When they attack. I would try to bring in injured units and low supply units with the hueys. Sometimes huey may assist as close air support. If it gets worse I would increase the amount of air strikes to keep pressure on the enemy. This would prevent the front line units from being over run. There is like 3 points of area I would focus on. -Front line area -Landing Zone where hueys can pick up or drop fresh units, -Supply base where hueys drop injured, low supplied units and gather new reinforcements. If I do setup with artillery there would be a 4th area which is fire support base. It's really hard to do because AI can just spam the units but very fun to attempt. Enemy team I setup would have 4 times more infantry with least air support and heavy on the anti aircraft vehicles. #pcgaming #gaming #rts
