China's 100-megawatt molten-salt solar thermal power farm located in Dunhuang in China's west now runs in full capacity. The power station is designed to generate 390 million kWh of power annually, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 350,000 metric tons per year. Shanxi Opera: The End of Yang Silang Yang family of the Song Dynasty stood on the frontline in the war against early Manchu's attempt to turn China into their colony, and all the men in the household died in the battles, except Yang Silang who surrendered to the enemy. When he visited his mother in China with his Manchu wife and Manchu generals and agents, his mother refused to recognise this treacherous son. In shame of being a traitor to his family, his people and his heritage, Yang Silang killed himself at the banquet. Shanxi is a province located on Yellow Plateaus in northern China with a well-developed opera culture. A Banquet at Third Pass (三关排宴) is a repertoire in Shangdang Clapper Opera (上党梆子), an opera originated in Shanxi's Shangdang region and heavily featured with clapper sound in the band.
