"The pioneers get all the arrows"
My first calling was as a musician and songwriter...I was fortunate enough to have a good run...Some songs from a friend of mine you never heard but might like...

Friend of mine once told me this lyric should be stitched on a pillow:
"I believe that life is for living and love is the axis on which we turn
We bare our souls till all is forgiven
and clothe ourselves with the lessons learned"

A favorite quote from a favorite author:
“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”
― Robert A. Heinlein
...and one I saw on a studio wall in Nashville:
“Never attempt to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and annoys the pig.”
― Robert Heinlein, Time Enough for Love
OK...one more...
“A dying culture invariably exhibits personal rudeness. Bad manners. Lack of consideration for others in minor matters. A loss of politeness, of gentle manners, is more significant than is a riot.”
― Robert A. Heinlein, Friday

I am an older gentleman now in retirement. I have paid my dues to the thieves in suits and hope that I can survive my remaining years while retaining whatever human(e)ity I have left. I don't take vaccines or meds and have not seen a Doctor in over 20 years and surprise, surprise, I am still very much alive and kicking.
I'm a man who loves the God of the Bible. I have read it twice at this time and studied it in depth. I am not a fan of the churches of this world, and I am definitely not a Sunday Christian by a long shot. I do not associate myself with any of this world's churches, but I only believe exactly what my Bible teaches, no more, and no less. I will not push my beliefs in your face, but I will not hesitate to speak my mind (as respectful as I can of course). I also dislike arguing/debating. I enjoy discussions if they are civilized though. When it comes to Biblical topics, I only accept that which can be proven in God's word, the Bible. If I am discussing the Bible and someone refuses to accept clear scripture on a topic, than I will end our conversation.
I have other interests as well, I am a computer game programmer and have created at least one game that was fairly successful, "Deluxe Pacman" for the PC, a free game, was downloaded literally millions of times, so that was fun while it lasted.
I am now a widower; I was married to Wanda Roy from 1985 until she died of cancer in September 21, 2021. I miss her deeply, but wish to move on. I don't discount finding someone else to love.
I also love nature, walks in the woods, photographs of nature, especially tropical beaches.
