The family has existed at least a 300,000 years and is the most sacred thing in all of humanity's cultures, including the animal kingdom.- mhtbm You are not a product of circumstances; you are a product of your decisions. – Viktor Frankl The goal of governments is always the same: to limit the individual, to domesticate him, to subordinate him, to subjugate him. – Max Stirner The extremist left chose the comfort and liberty of lies while the right still run for the truth. - mhtbm In capitalism workers can prosper. In socialism, (over 100 years of practice and history) only the state and your regulators prosper. - mhtbm Big state is fascist mentality. Controlling state too. - mhtbm Socialism is not paradise on Earth. It is a utopia that never needs to actually work. It only requires some kind of people to believe that it can work. They will never stop trying. - mhtbm The problem with socialism/communism is that, sooner or later, you run out of other people's money. – Margaret Thatcher Fascism, Nazism, Communism and Socialism are only superficial variations of the same monstrous theme: collectivism. - Ayn Rand If a society is tolerant without limit, it will be destroyed by the intolerant. - Karl Popper If the truth kills them, let them die - Ayn Rand People like to think the struggle is between good and evil, but it is between truth and lies. – Don Miguel Ruiz Every socialist is a dictator in disguise - Mises If you are not prepared to use force to defend civilization, (or yourself) then be prepared to accept barbarism. - Thomas Sowell "Sell your tunic and buy a sword" - Luke 22:36 For evil to triumph, it is only necessary for good men to do nothing. - Edmund Burke Freedom is not the privilege of being free, but the right to be just. - Cyrus the Great Habits reveal the man - Hamlet Those who kill for an idea, sooner or later die for it. I enjoy taking photos whenever something catches my eye as I wander around. I try to post the pics here on Minds when I like the way they turned out. I don't really use FB anymore and my YouTube channel mostly has video from 2017 when I drove my old beat up Ford Explorer over 6000 miles from Florida to Guatemala and back. One day I may migrate the video over to Minds but until then you can find it at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIYN8JtDB1o18hpEI_i6IRg In 2019 I drove the Explorer into a tree or it would probably still be running today. If you like VWs or old aircooled cars, I started a Minds group here https://www.minds.com/groups/profile/905284740216406016 Aircooled Automotive
