Well if metalheads can have their Death Metal, we are certainly entitled to our Death Disco!
The Nether Pits of Disco, particularly its apocalyptic collision with the then nascent electronic music (aka ItaloDisco and later EuroDance) as well as industrial, gothic and even metal influences.
Weird, experimental, crossover and modern examples are more than welcome, just as long as they can be reasonably identified as Disco in rhythm and general aesthetic (hint: there is usually some level of camp involved).
