Chester Bridge (between Chester, IL, and Perryville, MO, across the Mississippi River). The new, massive Don Welge Memorial Bridge is now replacing the 1942 dilapidated-but-still-in-use-Chester Bridge. Look closely, and you can see both bridges side by side. The new bridge is supposed to open this year, with the old bridge set to be demolished. (📷 Steve Larson) #Missouri #MississippiRiver
