South Korea's nuclear reactors achieved a capacity factor of 93.5% in 2023 — the highest ever recorded

Capacity factor measures how much electricity a power plant actually produces compared to its theoretical maximum. A 93.5% figure means South Korea's reactors ran at near-perfect output for over 340 days of the year. For comparison, the global average for nuclear plants is...See more

Chatham House is part of the WEF Great Reset network. They obviously "recommend" the continuation of the utterly failed "green" energy strategy which is ruining the UK economy. They won't be running any data centers on wind and solar... Note that this is obviously not a recommendation - this is the government announcing what they will do. https://www.chathamhouse.org/2026/07/why-burnham-should-back-britains-new-clean-energy-system-not-more-north-sea-drilling

NZZ documents the fact that nuclear keeps producing while wind energy dropped off during the heat wave

Solar energy output increased - during daytime hours, but obviously goes to zero by night. They claimed that wind would compensate for the missing solar energy, but during this heat wave - which is due to the almost total absence of wind - there's no wind energy. So Germany currently has to rely on nuclear power from France. https://www.nzz.ch/der-andere-blick/die-legende-vom-stillstand-der-franzoesischen-atomkraftwerke-ld.10015071 without paywall: https://archive.ph/PeHeT
