While there are many unsupported BBS Softwares that will still run just fine with a little retrofitting, our list is going to focus on CURRENTLY SUPPORTED BBS SOFTWARES that have support from authors, the community or both. Many are open sourced. Some are commercial. Many will likely be able to run on a Raspberry PI and / or Docker, however we will be focusing on the ones which run on DOS, WINDOWS, LINUX, UNIX, C64 / C128 and AMIGA. Some DOS BBS Softwares might be able to run on OS/2 & OS/2-compatible Operating Systems.
