Cygnus Loop

Cygnus Loop with East and West Veil nebulas. It is stack of only 108 frames, each 1 minute, ISO 3200, so I was afraid it will not be enough for this object but I am satisfied with the result. Location: Warsaw, Poland, under Bortle class 7. Done with: #Radian61 Triad Ultra Quad-Band Narrowband Filter Sony A7R3 iOptron SkyTracer pro Software: DSS, Siril, PixInsightLE, DarkTable

Nice group, I have literally just dipped into AP, bought a d5600 and rokinon 135 f2 on the way. Until now I have taken 17 gagillion failed pics with my phone. Looking forward to getting some experience and hopefully half decent images as soon as mother nature cooperates. For now, heres a fuzzball I took last year with my samsung s8 strapped to my xt10 dob.

Ever have one of those nights where something just refuses to work? Tonight I can't get my guide scope focused. It's driving me nuts. I'm not even sure how it got out of focus as I haven't touched the thing!

I've had one night clear skies in 5 months now, and that was at the full moon FML

Howdy all. I don't do astrophotography myself really, our telescope isn't optimal for it as I have a dobsonian (orion xt10). My husband will occasionally grab a few pictures with his phone but we just observe mostly. I'm just here to ogle.

Another clear night tonight... and another go at Andromeda as it became quite apparent my camera needed a proper clean. So I bought the kit, cleaned it up and my programme is taking my new flats and darks as I type Will also try to get started earlier and capture more data even more data. What I did take got very noisy very quickly in photoshop (not going to be sharing it lol). Could do with the moon not being out as well..

Share your kit! I have an equatorially mounted Star Adventurer AZ-GTI mount, Sharpstart 61EDPH-II scope, ZWO ASI 120mm mini as my guidescope camera and my main camera is an astro modded Canon 600d. I also have an astronomik light pollution filter. I think my next purchases will be either an auto-focuser or a Filter ring so I can start using H-Alpha filters to cut through my light polluted skies (Bortle 5-6 according to the apps but I do not believe it's as good as that)
