6th generation American. My great-great-great uncles (miners) rented a house in AZ from the Erp brothers back in the day before it was a state (1912).

I love cinema & the craft of making movies, though the business side of things is what gave me cause to step away from the industry for awhile.
Now that I see a burgeoning entertainment counter-industry coming into being, I'm on the lookout for ways to take an active role in contributing. Weather it be in film, novels or comic books, I'd love to help out, and maybe start my career anew. My primary talent is writing, and love to come up with new ways to move people, and can get really into it when my creative juices are flowing.
I've also worked on film sets in various departments, including Sound, Props, Grip, AC, Lighting, Post-Sound and Editing. I enjoyed directing my own projects in school, and would love to do that again. I know I'm rusty now, but am willing to work my way back up.
I'm a fan of various genres of storytelling, in any medium; adventure, comedy, science fiction, drama, romance, survival, horror, anything well told. I've been getting into Frank Herbert's Dune series, and am checkering those books between the Starshatter novels by Black Knight, who is an acquaintance of mine here on Minds. I love the works of Robert E. Howard, Claremont's run on X-Men, Spider-Man, Punisher, and been meaning to get into the Fantastic Four.
I love heavy metal, and dabble into other genres of music as well. I'm quite keen on the New Wave of British Heavy Metal from the late 70s-80s, as well as thrash metal, Metallica being the band that began my music journey as a child. I am now getting into Synthwave, Meaningwave, Mashups, underrated classics like Dire Straits, and the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal of more recent years.
Politically, I'm a staunch advocate of the Non-Aggression Principle and the philosophy of Liberty, which would make me an Anarchist by definition. I understand that most people may not yet be ready for a life without government (though I can see that is changing every day), so I prefer a baby steps approach to achieving greater Liberty for all people.
I am open to speaking with pretty much anyone about pretty much anything. I am a single guy, and am open to a relationship, though Minds may not be the best venue for pursuing a girlfriend, as the users here tend to be from anywhere but where I am; you can't put your arms around a picture.

Facebook Whistleblower and insider with Project Veritas. Ryan was a content moderator for nearly two years working for Cognizant, subcontracted by Facebook in Phoenix, Arizona. He worked in queues for Latin America and also North America, and reviewed and deleted groups, pages, posts, comments, and videos for Facebook and Instagram.
Since going public in June 2020, Ryan has done more than 170 interviews. He is fluent in Spanish and semi-fluent in Portuguese. He has interviewed with national media outlets in Colombia, Brazil, Japan and Russia. He is a minor political celebrity in Brazil and has also spoken about tech censorship in Spain, Argentina, Sweden and Guatemala.
