Hello, all, well I've finally caught everyone up on my adventures in Icewind Dale II with my party so far. Now we come to the point I'm at currently. This time the P.O.V. will be Brianna the Monk's perspective. Get ready as the Icewind Dale Ii adventure continues.

The Eight Chambers have proven thus far to live up to their name. By Illmatar's sacred word and Selune's blessing I had no idea that it would be this hard. The battle in the chamber of STone was Hard enough. It was a good trhing that I am as dextrous as I am otherwise those stone monks I fear would've killed me! Fighting one was bad enough, then two then three, then four. I'm amazed I survived as I have.

The second Chamber was the chamber of Shadows. I had been planning to go in but then Brannon stopped me and insisted on taking my place. At this I was absolutely horrified! I meant no disrespect against Brannon, but with the chamber being as deadly as it was I feared for his safety. Brannon however calmed my fear by caressing mmy face and saying, "Do not fear, beautiful one, with the strength of the Vigilant one, Helm, I shall be triumphant!"
Thankfully Brannon's faith in Helm proved up to the task. The Shadow chamber had a series of portals that had to be entered correctly. The problem was these shadow portals had fear spells on them. Paladins have a natural fear immunity because of their covenant with their deity of choice. In this case Helm protected Brannon from the effects of the portals' fear spell so he was able to complete it with no problem, the next time I meditate and pray I believe I shall send up a special prayer to Helm for helping Brannon through this.
Next was the Chamber of Sorcery. And this one was a hard one. I had to fight two crystal monks who's hand and foot attacks did slashing damage. Thankfully again my dexterity came in handy. There was an added complication that at certain times during the battle they actually cast lightning bolt. I managed to get struck a couple times by the attacks and Gods those attacks hurt! But I still managed to beat them before we took a rest.

The Chamber of Clockwork proved to be even deadlier. Not only did I have to dodge blades and drills that shot up from the floor I also had clockwork Monks I had to fight. I am grateful that I have started to harness the power of ki energy otherwise I know not what might've happened. As it stood when I beat the monks to a certain point they collapsed and began a countdown. When that Countdown was completed they exploded in a flaming fireball. In order to stop that I needed to pull some levers. I know about the fireballs because before I pulled a switch one of the monks I'd taken down reached 0. it was only thanks to my decxerity and dodge ability I was able to avoid the blast. When I got the chamber done I was quite relieved. But my trials would continue from there.

The last chamber I faced, before we decided to retire for the day, was the Chamber of Sand. This was an interesting chamber as I had to defeat two Sand Monks using fire attacks. Thankfully the room provided me with switches that activated fire streams. I had to be quick and be clever to get those monks to run through the fire streams to get me. But it all worked out and I managed to defeat them. My endurance however has been severely tested.

As I write down what happened, we make camp. Brannon has come and is even now rubbing my shoulders. Getting the tension out feels good. There are three rooms left in the Eight Chambers and I fear these chambers will be among the hardest places I have ever faced. It will take all my strength and my health to handle these chambers. I pray that I will have the ability. May Illmatar and Selune give me the strength and the skill to succeed.
