A Slide from Dr. Ben Sessa Keynote Address

On 3/3/2018, I attended Psychedelic career day webinar. It was a webcast broadcasted from Toronto Psychedelic Society about studying psychedelics in academia, helping to find your way to a psychedelic career and learn from panelists that have made a psychedelic career in areas like communications, clinical research, psychotherapy, education, entrepreneurship, and psychiatry.

This webcast I believe was the first of its kind, a worldwide webinar from Prague to the Pacific.

13 years ago when I was a bright eyed college student, I gave a speech on the important potential on using psychedelics in treating of depression. And I was in fear that I would fail the class, and had a huge debate with my teacher and held my position well. But the most shocking was the looks and reaction from my classmates, they were all thought it was weird, or silly and they kind wrote it off as some kind of joke.

Now we have events like this. Young version of me didn't know think this was a possibility. There is a deep and interesting Psychedelic history progressing all around us. I am happy that I can play a smart part in it.

A Slide from Dr. Ben Sessa Keynote Address

The Keynote address was by Dr. Ben Sessa. Ben is the curator and founder of Breaking Convention a biennial conference exploring the many facets of Psychedelics at Greenwich College outside London, U.K. Ben has been a consultant child and addictions psychiatrist with 20 years’ clinical experience with child abuse. He now runs the world’s first MDMA study for alcoholism. He’s authored textbooks (The Psychedelic Renaissance) and a novel about psychedelics.

I cleaned up the audio from his address and put together his slideshow with some extras & some music. It's very interesting, please enjoy!
