Right now, @Sargon_of_Akkad is the most subscribed account on Minds.com platform, but he is still only in the 4th Quintile, of 5.  No one, has achieved 100,000 subscribers in Minds.com.

No one.

Minds.com has a lot of growing to do as compared to the much larger, legacy social media platforms it seeks to replace as part of #TheGreatMigration.

Here, we like to call it @TheGreatGameOfMinds and our purpose is to grow smaller channels into larger ones, and monetize content creators.  @Sargon_of_Akkad does not even need more money  if you check out his Patreon and MakerSupport accounts. He is doing quite well for himself.

So, why do it. Why do you climb mountains? Because they are there.  It so happens that compared to other goals- Sargon is within 6000 subscribers of the 100,000 that it is achievable rather quickly and can be promoted rather effectively, that we helped boost him over the top, and that Minds.com has indeed met another milestone- their first over 100,000 subscribed account!

One can only imagine what @ottman @John @Jack @Mark might have in store for just such an event as this!

@TheGreatGameOfMinds wants to increase exposure of Minds.com as a platform for content creators.  Part of that exposure comes from legacy social media YouTubers that migrate over to Minds.com to gain subscribers, get paid via Minds Wires, Paypal, Patreon, and MakerSupport.  There will always be those who use social media purely for creative or personal reasons, but many of us see it as income, and therefore need to monetize our channels using the most effective platforms at increasing exposure, subscribers, and paid supporters.

By doing this, we elevate the exposure of our cause, from the top-down while we continue our efforts to support via the bottom-up.

We know of currently less than 60 channels with at least 20,000 subscribers. Our quintile channels have subscribed to the channels at the highest quintile level of their qualification.  Right now, because @Sargon__of_Akkad is 94,000+ he is the only channel in the @Minds80K quintile.  When this goal is reached through the efforts of all of you, we will unsubscribe him from there, and subscribe to him at @Minds100K where he will be until we come up with even larger qualification tiers...  I think we will build our Minds Tiers as they are warranted.
