The ABC is BIASED on power prices

The ABC flat out campaign for renewable energy in their latest attack on fossil fuels.

They disguise it as a "report" on power prices but betray the bias with this paragraph:

"The current predicament could have been avoided if we had a credible and comprehensive emissions reduction policy to drive investment in the sector. Such a policy would give investors the confidence to build generation with the knowledge about what carbon liabilities they may face in the future. But the carbon price was repealed in 2014 and replaced with nothing."

Translation: Had we just done everything the Green Left wanted power prices wouldn't be this high!

Which is funny because it's doing what the Green Left want, closing power stations, that's pushing prices higher.

Also funny because a few paragraphs earlier they say this:

"Put simply, Australia has failed to build enough new generation over recent years to reliably replace ageing coal plants when they leave the market."

So what they are really saying is "build lots and lots and lots of expensive and unreliable 'renewable' energy!"

The ABC is biased as hell and needs to be privatised.
