Belgium is one of two EU countries I've found so far...and I've only looked at two, that used Smartmatic electronic voting machines (EVMs) to elect it's MEPs in the European parliament elections of 2014, the other one being Bulgaria, and like Bulgaria I've found no evidence of any wrong doings...or even accusations of any...so why am I writing about it?
Well, essentially for the same reason as the Bulgaria article...George Soros' reliable allies list. Before I get to that though, Smartmatic does have form in Belgium already, as this piece from Wikipedia informs us..
'On October 14, 2012, Belgium utilized Smartmatic’s technology and managed services to carry out regional elections in 153 communes in the Flanders and Brussels-Capital regions. The Flemish government stated "the Venezuelan Smartmatic fails for technical issues and demands that the system, which cost 40 million euros, will be improved by 2014". There were nearly 2,000 incidents with 25% of them being technical issues, with some instances of voters casting a ballot twice for a candidate by quickly pressing the screen. Following the election, Flanders refused to pay 16.5% of the initial agreed payment due to Smartmatic's failure.'
The fact that no 'irregularities' have come to light so far surrounding this particular election doesn't mean there won't be any, as political analyst Alek Boyd, who has done a lot of research into Smartmatic, concludes...
'Smartmatic is yet to run one electoral process, anywhere in the world, in which fraud allegations and irregularities have not been made. From Venezuela to the Philippines, from the USA to Mexico, every single contract awarded to Smartmatic has been marred with allegations of bribes, and corruption'
Back to the George Soros list...
This is a document commissioned by the 'Open Society European Policy Institute' detailing all MEPs who are 'Reliable allies in the European Parliament (2014 – 2019)'. In total there are 751 MEPs...226 of them are on this list, you can view the full list here.
Belgium has 21 MEPs, as you can find easily enough on the EU website, and 10 of those are on this list including, unsurprisingly, Guy Verhofstadt. There are 2 more on the list which are not on the EU site so I haven't included them below, as presumably they've moved on...or been sacked.
(NB: for comparison, Hungary also has 21 MEPs but only has one on this list...Hungary didn't use Smartmatic to elect their MEPs).
These are the 10 who are currently in post...
Whilst it may not easy to read the backgrounds of these people on these images you will be able to via the list, every one of them big on social justice, asylum, migration, LGBT rights, etc...all chosen with the help of Smartmatic in my opinion.
Why would I say that? Well aside from the fact that Smartmatic has a track record around the world for allegedly rigging elections in favour of left wing, Socialist candidates, it's chairman is none other than Mark Malloch Brown, chairman of Best for Britain, and if you look at his Wiki page you'll see just how close his ties are to Soros...which may well be the subject of a new post.

Just by way of a disclaimer, I'm making no accusations myself of any wrong doings, I'm just gathering information that's available on-line, which may or may not include accusations by others, and collating it here for your perusal.
