3:1These also were the generations of Aaron and Moses, in the day that the Lord spake with Moses in mount Sinai.
3:2So these are the names of the sonnes of Aaron, Nadab the first borne, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3:3These are the names of the sonnes of Aaron the anoynted Priests, whom Moses did consecrate to minister in the Priests office.
3:4And Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord, when they offred strange fire before the Lord in the wildernesse of Sinai, and had no children: but Eleazar and Ithamar serued in ye Priestes office in the sight of Aaron their father.

I find my self wondering the following questions:

  1. What does GOD say His Priest should be like?

      2. Was the Levites (in a way)... a Holy sacrifice for the atonement of the Nation of Israel until YESHUA would be able to come the first time?

To understand these questions we must look at GOD's word and definitions:

How are Priest of the Tabernacle and other duties qualified by GOD and reviewed?

3:5Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
3:6Bring the tribe of Leui, and set the before Aaron the Priest that they may serue him,
3:7And take the charge with him, euen the charge of the whole Congregation before the Tabernacle of the Congregation to doe the seruice of the Tabernacle.
3:8They shall also keepe all the instruments of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and haue the charge of the children of Israel to doe the seruice of the Tabernacle.
3:9And thou shalt giue the Leuites vnto Aaron and to his sonnes: for they are giuen him freely from among the children of Israel.
3:10And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sonnes to execute their Priestes office: and the stranger that commeth neere, shalbe slayne.

In Leviticus ch 21: 16-24 We read what GOD told Moses regarding the outward review of GOD's Priest:

21:16And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
21:17Speake vnto Aaron, and say, Whosoeuer of thy seede in their generations hath any blemishes, shall not prease to offer the bread of his God:
21:18For whosoeuer hath any blemish, shall not come neere: as a man blinde or lame, or that hath a flat nose, or that hath any misshapen member,
21:19Or a man that hath a broken foote, or a broken hande,
21:20Or is crooke backt, or bleare eyed, or hath a blemish in his eye, or be skiruie, or skabbed, or haue his stones broken.
21:21None of the seede of Aaron the Priest that hath a blemish, shall come neere to offer the sacrifices of the Lord made by fire, hauing a blemish: he shall not prease to offer the bread of his God.
21:22The bread of his God, euen of the most holie, and of the holy shall he eate:
21:23But he shall not goe in vnto the vaile, nor come neere the altar, because hee hath a blemish, least he pollute my Sanctuaries: for I am the Lord that sanctifie them.
21:24Thus spake Moses vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes, and to all the children of Israel.

The schedule of the Priest was a daily schedule given only by the direction of Almighty GOD. There was to be daily assignments or duties, but also weekly, quarterly, seasonally, annually,  Sabbatical Years, and Jubilee years. Later, in 1 Chron 24:1-19 King David give assignments to the Levites descended from the sons of Aaron the Kohems and Kohem Gadol or Aaronic Priests. Through JESUS CHRIST Our Lord the Aaronic Priestly sacrifice requirements were abolished. JESUS is the last blood sacrifice requirement for our sin atonement. This is way all most believe in JESUS sacrifice in order to be saved from having the wrath of GOD upon them for their sins. None who doubt will have eternal life, life ever lasting, or be washed clean (white as snow) for their sins.

Their sins will remain with them as written in:

Revelation 20:14
Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:10
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Revelation 21:8
But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Revelation 20:15
And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Revelation 19:20
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.

Matthew 18:8
“If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life crippled or lame, than to have two hands or two feet and be cast into the eternal fire.

Mark 9:47-48
If your eye causes you to stumble, throw it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be cast into hell, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.

Matthew 25:46
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

Matthew 13:42
and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Revelation 20:13-15
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

What GOD spoke to me years ago regarding other Priest in HIS Army:

Courts of Heaven:

Classrooms in Heaven:

Why do many of us (who are GOD's Seer's, Prophets, Priest, Casters, Healers, Prayer Warriors....and so on) seem to recognize each other upon first sight?

We have met before?

Hebrews Chapter: 7

7:1For this Melchi-sedec was King of Salem, the Priest of the most high God, who met Abraham, as he returned from the slaughter of the Kings, and blessed him:
7:2To whom also Abraham gaue the tithe of all things: who first is by interpretation King of righteousnes: after that, he is also King of Salem, that is, King of peace,
7:3Without father, without mother, without kinred, and hath neither beginning of his dayes, neither ende of life: but is likened vnto the Sonne of God, and continueth a Priest for euer.
7:4Nowe consider how great this man was, vnto whome euen the Patriarke Abraham gaue the tithe of the spoyles.
7:5For verely they which are the childre of Leui, which receiue the office of the Priesthode, haue a commandement to take, according to the Law, tithes of the people (that is, of their bethren) though they came out of ye loynes of Abraham.
7:6But he whose kindred is not couted among them, receiued tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
7:7And without all contradiction the lesse is blessed of the greater.
7:8And here men that die, receiue tithes: but there he receiueth them, of whome it is witnessed, that he liueth.
7:9And to say as the thing is, Leui also which receiueth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.
7:10For hee was yet in the loynes of his father Abraham, when Melchi-sedec met him.
7:11If therefore perfection had bene by the Priesthoode of the Leuites (for vnder it the Lawe was established to the people) what needed it furthermore, that another Priest should rise after the order of Melchi-sedec, and not to be called after the order of Aaron?
7:12For if the Priesthood be changed, then of necessitie must there be a change of the Lawe.
7:13For hee of whome these things are spoken, perteineth vnto another tribe, whereof no man serued at the altar.
7:14For it is euident, that our Lord sprung out of Iuda, concerning the which tribe Moses spake nothing, touching the Priesthood.
7:15And it is yet a more euident thing, because that after the similitude of Melchi-sedec, there is risen vp another Priest,
7:16Which is not made Priest after the Law of the carnal commandement, but after the power of the endlesse life.
7:17For hee testifieth thus, Thou art a Priest for euer, after the order of Melchi-sedec.
7:18For the commandement that went afore, is disanulled, because of the weakenes thereof, and vnprofitablenes.
7:19For the Law made nothing perfite, but the bringing in of a better hope made perfite, whereby we drawe neere vnto God.
7:20And for as much as it is not without an othe (for these are made Priestes without an othe:
7:21But this is made with an othe by him that said vnto him, The Lord hath sworne, and will not repent, Thou art a Priest for euer, after the order of Melchi-sedec)
7:22By so much is Iesus made a suretie of a better Testament.
7:23And among them many were made Priests, because they were not suffered to endure, by the reason of death.
7:24But this man, because hee endureth euer, hath a Priesthood, which cannot passe from one to another.
7:25Wherefore, hee is able also perfectly to saue them that come vnto God by him, seeing he euer liueth, to make intercession for them.
7:26For such an hie Priest it became vs to haue, which is holy, harmelesse, vndefiled, separate from sinners, and made hier then the heauens:
7:27Which needeth not daily as those hie Priests to offer vp sacrifice, first for his owne sinnes, and then for the peoples: for that did he once, when he offered vp himselfe.
7:28For the Law maketh men hie Priestes, which haue infirmitie: but the word of the othe that was since the Lawe, maketh the Sonne, who is consecrated for euermore.

3:11Also the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
3:12Beholde, I haue euen taken the Leuites from among the childre of Israel: for al the first borne that openeth the matrice among the children of Israel, and the Leuites shalbe mine,

What is the definition of matrice? noun=Same as matrix.

Strong's reveals: matrix, womb

From racham; the womb (compare racham) -- matrix, womb.

see HEBREW racham (retrieved from: https://biblehub.com/hebrew/7358.htm, dated 26 Sept, 2021/5782)

racham: to love, have compassion

Original Word: רָחַם
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: racham
Phonetic Spelling: (raw-kham')
Definition: to love, have compassion

This may be why we read:

1 Chronicles 16:22

22 Touch not mine [a]anointed, and do my [b]Prophets no harm.

22 (And he said,) Do not ye touch my christs, that is, (the) patriarchs anointed with the anointing of grace; and do not ye do wickedly against my prophets.

I believe GOD is telling us .... GOD is taking the Levites as a first born in order to have compassion for the Nation of Israels atonement of sin. .... well until YESHUA could come.

3:13Because all the first borne are mine: for the same day, that I smote all the first borne in the land of Egypt, I sanctified vnto me all the first borne in Israel, both man and beast: mine they shalbe: I am the Lord.
3:14Moreouer, the Lord spake vnto Moses in the wildernesse of Sinai, saying,
3:15Nomber the children of Leui after the houses of their fathers, in their families: euery male from a moneth olde and aboue shalt thou nomber.
3:16Then Moses nombred them according to the word of the Lord, as he was commanded.
3:17And these are the sonnes of Leui by their names, Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
3:18Also these are the names of the sonnes of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.
3:19The sonnes also of Kohath by their families: Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Vzziel.
3:20And the sonnes of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of Leui, according to the houses of their fathers.
3:21Of Gershon came the familie of the Libnites, and the familie of the Shimeites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
3:22The summe whereof (after the nomber of all the males from a moneth olde and aboue) was counted seuen thousand and fiue hundreth.

Why are the Levites counted from one month and above, while the other tribes of the Nation of Israel are counted age 20 and above?

****note**** 7000+500=12 is the number of GOD's Government

The meaning of 12, which is considered a perfect number, is that it symbolizes God's power and authority, as well as serving as a perfect governmental foundation. It can also symbolize completeness or the nation of Israel as a whole. (retrieved from: https://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/12.html, date 27 Sept, 2021 5782)

The Complete Dead Sea Scrolls in English p97-117 Community Rule Author: Vermes ; reveals that the Levites that were to be the Tabernacle Priest and later in line to be the Kohem Gadol or High Priest of the Tabernacle, were literally raised as Tabernacle Priest. From about 4 years old or after weaning was complete; the young Levite began learning in the Tabernacle.

3:23The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the Tabernacle westward.
3:24The captaine and auncient of the house of the Gershonites shalbe Eliasaph the sonne of Lael.
3:25And the charge of the sonnes of Gershon in the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall be the Tabernacle, and the pauilion, the couering thereof, and the vaile of the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation,
3:26And the hanging of the court, and the vaile of the doore of the court, which is neere the Tabernacle, and neere ye Altar round about, and the cordes of it for all the seruice thereof.
3:27And of Kohath came the familie of the Amramites, and the familie of the Izeharites, and the familie of the Hebronites, and the familie of the Vzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
3:28The nomber of all the males from a moneth olde and aboue was eight thousand and sixe hundreth, hauing the charge of the Sanctuarie.

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 14

Being a multiple of 7, 14 partakes of its importance and, being double that number, implies a double measure of spiritual perfection. The number two with which it is combined (2x7) may, however, bring its own significance into its meaning, as it does in Matthew 1, where the genealogy of Jesus Christ is divided up and given in sets of 14 (2x7) generations, two being associated with incarnation.

How is the number fourteen linked with Jesus' ancestors?

There are three sets of 14 generations between (and including) Abraham to Joseph (husband of Mary).

3:29The families of the sonnes of Kohath shall pitch on the Southside of the Tabernacle.
3:30The captaine and auncient of the house, and families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the sonne of Vzziel:
3:31And their charge shalbe the Arke, and the Table, and the Candlesticke, and the altars, and the instruments of the Sanctuarie that they minister with, and the vaile, and all that serueth thereto.
3:32And Eleazar the sonne of Aaron the Priest shalbe chiefe captaine of the Leuites, hauing the ouersight of them that haue the charge of the Sanctuarie.
3:33Of Merari came the familie of the Mahlites, and the familie of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.
3:34And the summe of them, according to the nomber of all the males, from a moneth olde and aboue was sixe thousand and two hundreth.

******** note****** 6000+200=8

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 8

The number 8 in the Bible represents a new beginning, meaning a new order or creation, and man's true 'born again' event when he is resurrected from the dead into eternal life.

Like the Old Testament Passover lamb, Jesus was selected as the Lamb to take away man's sins on the Hebrew day of Nisan 10 (April 1, 30 A.D. - John 12: 28 - 29). He was crucified on Nisan 14 (Wednesday, April 5 in 30 A.D.). His resurrection occurred, exactly as he stated, three days and three nights after he was buried, which was at the end of the weekly Sabbath day that fell on Nisan 17 (seventeen symbolizes victory).

Nisan 17 was also the eighth day, counting inclusively, from the time Christ was selected as man's sacrificial Lamb. All this bears record of Jesus' perfect sacrifice and His complete victory over death.

3:35The captaine and the ancient of the house of the families of Merari shalbe Zuriel the sonne of Abihail: they shall pitche on the Northside of the Tabernacle.
3:36And in ye charge and custodie of the sonnes of Merari shall be the boardes of the Tabernacle, and the barres thereof, and his pillars, and his sockets, and al the instruments therof, and al that serueth thereto,
3:37With the pillars of the court round about, with their sockets, and their pins and their coardes.
3:38Also on the forefront of the Tabernacle toward the East, before the Tabernacle, I say, of the Congregation Eastwarde shall Moses and Aaron and his sonnes pitch, hauing the charge of the Sanctuarie, and the charge of the children of Israel: but the stranger that commeth neere, shall be slayne.
3:39The wholesumme of ye Leuites, which Moses and Aaron nombred at the commandement of the Lord throughout their families, euen al the males from a moneth olde and aboue, was two and twentie thousand.

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 4

The number 4 derives its meaning from creation. On the fourth day of what is called 'creation week' God completed the material universe. On this day he brought into existence our sun, the moon, and all the stars (Genesis 1:14 - 19). Their purpose was not only to give off light, but also to divide the day from the night on earth, thus becoming a basic demarcation of time. They were also made to be a type of signal that would mark off the days, years and seasons.

Interestingly, the Hebrew word for 'seasons' in Genesis 1:14 is moed (Strong's Concordance #H4150), which literally translated is "appointed times" (divine appointments) in reference to God's festivals. This is the earliest known allusion to what would later be called the Holy (or Feast) days (periods) of worship, which are seven in number.

The 4th of the Ten Commandments is to remember and keep God's holy Sabbath day (Exodus 20:9 - 11). The Sabbath day is tied directly to the creation week. God himself made the period between Friday sunset and Saturday sunset extra special when he rested on it after bringing everything into existence the previous six days (Genesis 2:1 - 3, Exodus 20:11).

3:40And the Lord said vnto Moses, Nomber all the first borne that are Males among the children of Israel, from a moneth old and aboue, and take the nomber of their names.
3:41And thou shalt take ye Leuites to me for all the first borne of the children of Israel (I am the Lord) and the cattell of the Leuites for all the first borne of the cattell of the children of Israel.
3:42And Moses nombred, as the Lord commanded him, all the first borne of the children of Israel.
3:43And all the first borne males rehearsed by name (from a moneth olde and aboue) according to their nomber were two and twentie thousand, two hundreth seuentie and three.

******** note****** 20,000+273=14

3:44And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
3:45Take the Leuites for all the first borne of the children of Israel, and the cattell of the Leuites for their cattel, and the Leuites shalbe mine, (I am the Lord)
3:46And for the redeeming of the two hundreth seuentie and three, (which are moe then the Leuites) of the first borne of the children of of Israel,
3:47Thou shalt also take fiue shekels for euery person: after the weight of the Sanctuarie shalt thou take it: ye shekel conteineth twenty gerahs.
3:48And thou shalt giue the money, wherwith the odde nomber of them is redeemed, vnto Aaron and to his sonnes.
3:49Thus Moses tooke the redemption of the that were redeemed, being more then the Leuites:
3:50Of the first borne of the children of Israel tooke he the mony: eue a thousand three hundreth three score and fiue shekels after the shekel of the Sanctuarie.
3:51And Moses gaue the money of them that were redeemed, vnto Aaron and to his sonnes according to the word of the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

(threescore thrē′skôr′ adjective 1.Being three times twenty; sixty.)

1300  x 60 = 78,000

7+8=15

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 15

The number 15 in the Bible pictures rest, which comes after deliverance, represented by fourteen. The 15th day of the first Hebrew month (Nisan) is the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a day of rest for the children of Israel (and for Christians). The 15th day of the 7th Hebrew month begins the Feast of Tabernacles, also a day of rest.

God told Abraham in a vision, just as the sun was setting to begin Nisan 15 on the Hebrew calendar, that his descendants would end up as slaves in a foreign country (Egypt). They would, however, eventually be set free (Genesis 15:12 - 16).

Many years later in Egypt, God miraculously delivered Israel's firstborn from the death angel just as Passover began after sunset (Nisan 14). Then, 24 hours later (just as the sun was setting to begin Nisan 15), the children of Israel began to leave Egypt (Exodus 12:40 - 41). This night is referred to as the 'night to be much observed' (Exodus 12:40 - 42, Deuteronomy 16:1). God's prophecy of freedom, given to Abraham on Nisan 15, was fulfilled years later on the exact same day.

These are the descendants of Aaron and Moses on the day that the Lord spoke to Moses at Mount Sinai.
2These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed kohanim, whom he consecrated to serve as kohanim.
4Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord when they brought alien fire before the Lord in the Sinai desert, and they had no children. Eleazar and Ithamar, however, served as kohanim in the presence of Aaron, their father.
5The Lord spoke to Moses saying:
6Bring forth the tribe of Levi and present them before Aaron the kohen, that they may serve him.
7They shall keep his charge and the charge of the entire community before the Tent of Meeting, to perform the service of the Mishkan.
8They shall take charge of all the vessels of the Tent of Meeting and the charge of the children of Israel, to perform the service of the Mishkan.
9You shall give over the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they shall be wholly given over to him from the children of Israel.
10You shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their kehunah; any outsider [non kohen] who approaches shall be put to death.
11The Lord spoke to Moses, saying.
12As for Me I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel in place of all firstborns among the children of Israel who have opened the womb, and the Levites shall be Mine.
13For all the firstborns are Mine; since the day I smote all the firstborns in the land of Egypt, I sanctified for Myself all the firstborns of Israel, both man and beast they shall become Mine, I am the Lord.
14The Lord spoke to Moses in the Sinai desert, saying:
15Count the children of Levi according to their fathers' house according to their families. Count all males from the age of one month and upward.
16So Moses counted them according to God's word, just as he was commanded.
17These were the names of Levi's sons: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
18The names of the sons of Gershon according to their families were Libni and Shim'ei.
19And the sons of Kohath according to their families were Amram, Itzhar, Hebron, and Uziel.
20And the sons of Merari according to their families were Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of Levi according to their fathers' houses.
21For Gershon, the Libnite family and the Shim'eite family; these are the Gershonite families.
22Their sum was made according to the number of males from the age of one month and upward; the tally amounted to seven thousand, five hundred.
23The Gershonite families shall camp behind the Mishkan, to the west.
24The prince of the father's house of the Gershonites is Eliasaph the son of Lael.
25The charge of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting [included] the Mishkan, the Tent, its cover, and the screen for the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
26The hangings of the courtyard, the screen at the entrance to the courtyard, which is around the Mishkan and the altar, its ropes, as well as all the work involved.
27For Kohath, the Amramite family, the Izharite family, the Hebronite family, and the Uzielite family; these are the families of Kohath.
28The number of all males from the age of one month and upward amounted to eight thousand six hundred, the keepers of the charge of the holy.
29The families of the sons of Kohath shall camp to the south side of the Mishkan.
30The prince of the father's house of the Kohathite families is Elizaphan the son of Uziel.
31Their charge [included] the ark, the table, the menorah, the altars, and the holy utensils with which they would minister, and the screen and all the work involved.
32The prince over all the princes of the Levites shall be Eleazar the son of Aaron the kohen, the appointment of all the keepers of the charge of the Holy.
33For Merari, the Machlite family and the Mushite family; these are the families of Merari.
34Their tally according to the number of males from the age of one month and upward was six thousand two hundred.
35The prince of the father's house of the Merarite families is Zuriel the son of Abihail; they shall camp on the north side of the Mishkan.
36The appointment of the charge of the sons of Merari [included] the planks of the Mishkan, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets, all its utensils, and all the work involved.
37Also the pillars of the surrounding courtyard, their sockets, their stakes, and their ropes.
38Camping in front of the Mishkan, in front of the Tent of Meeting to the east were Moses, Aaron and his sons, the keepers of the charge of the Sanctuary as a trust for the children of Israel; any outsider who approaches shall be put to death.
39The sum of the male Levites according to their families, from the age of one month and upward, counted by Moses and Aaron according to the word of the Lord, was twenty two thousand.
40The Lord said to Moses: Count every firstborn male aged one month and upward of the children of Israel, and take the number of their names.
41And you shall take the Levites for Me I am the Lord instead of all firstborns among the children of Israel. And [take] the Levites' animals instead of all the firstborn animals of the children of Israel.
42So Moses counted every firstborn of Israel, as the Lord had commanded him.
43The firstborn males aged one month and upward, according to the number of names, was twenty two thousand, two hundred and seventy three.
44The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
45Take the Levites instead of all the firstborns among the children of Israel and the Levites' animals instead of their animals, and the Levites shall be Mine I am the Lord.
46As for the two hundred and seventy three of the children of Israel who required redemption, who are in excess of the Levites,
47you shall take five shekels per head, according to the holy shekel, by which the shekel is twenty gerahs.
48You shall give the money to Aaron and his sons, in redemption for the firstborns who are in excess of them.
49So Moses took the redemption money for those in excess of those redeemed by the Levites.
50He took the money from the firstborn of the children of Israel; one thousand, three hundred and sixty five of the holy shekels.
51Then Moses gave the money of those redeemed to Aaron and his sons, in accordance with the word of the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Amen and Amen.
