1.History using Halley's Bible Hand Book Numbers ch 2:

Numbers

The photo below is from my personal version of Haley's Bible Handbook 18th edition of the 24th revision. The direct photo above is the 25th edition NIV copyright 2000.

I want others to notice the difference in the phots of the camps. The point is books are edited and sometimes information is gained or lost. All books; please keep this in mind. This is why it is so very important to always confirm with GOD

This is also why I am not a fan of electronic books or certain versions of the Bible.

Review for the Book of Leviticus:

The Camp of the Tribes are centered around the Tabernacle of the LORD.

Where does the wisdom of the military planning of the Tribes come from?

Some say Egypt, but I say GOD!

(WYC) James ch 1: 5 And if any of you needeth wisdom, ask he of God, which giveth to all men largely [that giveth to all men largely], and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him. Why are 3 sons of Levi surrounding the Tabernacle?

This aspect of spiritual life was personified by Kehot.

Levite clanpart of Sanctuaryaspect of spiritual life

What are some of the Hands of GOD?

1. the "great hand" (Ex. 14:31), signifying G‑d's kindness (chesed), the source of His beneficience

Levi's first son, Gershon, personified the "great hand", since the long final nun with which his name is spelled depicts G‑d's bestowal of beneficence to the lowest levels, which is motivated by kindness.

2. the "strong hand" (Deut. 7:19), signifying G‑d's strength or severity (gevura)

Merari, whose name is related to the word for "bitterness", personified the "strong hand" that metes out punishment.

3. the "uplifted hand" (Ex. 14:8), signifying G‑d's beauty (tiferet)

Kehot personified the "uplifted hand", since Kehotites carried (or "uplifted") the ark and the tablets on their shoulders, as opposed to the other sons, who were allowed to transport their respective parts of the Tabernacle on wagons.

Another son of Leah and Jacob used by GOD?

Reuben saved Joseph from being killed and so did Judah.
Genesis 37: 25And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.

26And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?

27Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.

Jacob's Blessings spoken unto Judah

"Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father's sons will bow down to you. You are a lion's cub, Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness—who dares to rouse him? The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his. He will tether his donkey to a vine, his colt to the choicest branch; he will wash his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes. His eyes will be darker than wine, his teeth whiter than milk." – Genesis 49:8-12

1God spoke to Moses and Aaron saying:
