AlteredState
@AlteredState I am an older gentleman now in retirement. I have paid my dues to the thieves in suits and hope that I can survive my remaining years while retaining whatever human(e)ity I have left. I don't take vaccines or meds and have not seen a Doctor in over 20 years and surprise, surprise, I am still very much alive and kicking.
Dazed and Confused..... Grew up in the American dream.... graduated the School of Hard Knocks..... Rode 60's choppers... jeans of blue Harley Davison too..... raised a family wild and FREE. "The pioneers get all the arrows"
My first calling was as a musician and songwriter...I was fortunate enough to have a good run...Some songs from a friend of mine you never heard but might like...

Friend of mine once told me this lyric should be stitched on a pillow:
"I believe that life is for living and love is the axis on which we turn
We bare our souls till all is forgiven
and clothe ourselves with the lessons learned"

A favorite quote from a favorite author:
“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”
― Robert A. Heinlein
...and one I saw on a studio wall in Nashville:
“Never attempt to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and annoys the pig.”
― Robert Heinlein, Time Enough for Love
OK...one more...
“A dying culture invariably exhibits personal rudeness. Bad manners. Lack of consideration for others in minor matters. A loss of politeness, of gentle manners, is more significant than is a riot.”
― Robert A. Heinlein, Friday
