Hello fellow carnivores, today i wanted to share one of my favorite recipies, it is a juicy tomahawk steak, it takes a bit of patience but worth the wait, so let's get started:
1. Let the steak come to room temperature first.
2. Use a paper towel to dry the surface of the steak.
3. Sprinkle salt and pepper and garlic powder
4. Place into oven at 170⁰ degrees until the internal temperature reaches 80⁰ degrees.
5. Flip the steak and cook the other side until the internal reaches 115⁰ degrees.
6. Take the steak out of the oven and move it to the grill.
7. Make sure the charcoal is very hot and sear the steak for 5 to 6 minutes on each side.
8. After the steak is seared, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 8 minutes before serving so that all of the juices stays in the steak.
9. Optional: i usually grill a few garlic and serrano peppers on the side for some extra flavor.
Thats all guys, very easy recipe, hope you guys like it and let me know how you like to cook your steak.
